Having studied fine art and architecture our collaborative approach to design is a holistic one grounded in the belief that a successful piece of design should be a finely crafted work of art, which has a positive environmental, social and cultural impact.

Whilst working at Matthew and David – Design Marie has been involved with numerous arts and residential projects.
Marie has passion for architectural design especially when it serves the tight constrains of community projects. Through her experience she has gained technical knowledge and a solid understanding of construction. She believes that good design and detailing is the prerequisite for the success of a scheme within the time and budget constrains without compromising on quality.

India has most recently been developing her design for a temporary treehouse for Kew Gardens, themed around the concept of ‘Play’, having won an international architecture competition. The CLT and timber treehouse will be built early next year and will be open for visitors from April – September 2023. At MAD-D India plays a key role during all workstages on a number of arts and residential projects.
