The Other Place Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon

Studio M was appointed in March 2025 to design and deliver four flexible auditorium configurations for The Other Place Theatre’s 2025/26 season. The commission encompassed specialist architectural and auditorium design services, alongside the development of production-specific layouts for the Royal Shakespeare’s Company and Royal Court Theatre co-production of Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis and the RSC production of Macbeth set in a Glasgow pub. Working in close collaboration with the RSC’s technical, creative and facilities teams, along side Plann the RSC’s project director, Studio M successfully delivered the reconfigured flexible auditorium, enabling an ambitious and diverse programme of productions for the 2025/26 season.
